Taj Hotels is a luxury hotel chain and is a subsidiary of Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), headquartered at Express Towers, Nariman Point in Mumbai. Incorporated by the founder of the Tata Group, Jamsetji Tata, in 1903, the company is a part of the Tata Group, one of India’s largest business conglomerates. The chain’s 1st hotel was The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai overlooking the Arabian Sea that opened on 16th December 1903. The brand continues to be one of the most revered and loved hospitality brands with a legacy of over 116 years of impeccable service and genuine warmth.
