Lucknow will be Indigo’s ninth destination from Doha. The airline already offers flights from Doha to Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kannur, Kozhikode, Kochi and Hyderabad.
Qatar Airways does not operate flights to Lucknow, meaning that Indigo will enjoy a monopoly on this new route. In India, Qatar Airways operates flights to: Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa, Delhi, Kozhikode, Kolkata, Nagpur and Amritsar.
Meanwhile, Indigo recently launched flights from Darbhanga, Bihar and has launched a special ‘VaxiFare’ in which it offers a 10% discount on base fares to those who are vaccinated.
