Finland now welcoming vaccinated travellers from the United Kingdom

Finland has announced that it has now eased its restrictions on fully vaccinated travellers from the United Kingdom. This means that Brits will be able to enter without quarantine or testing requirements.

Travellers must have received the second dose of the vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival. Authorities in Finland will check proof on arrival via the NHS app or a vaccination status letter. But travellers might also need to show proof at their departure airport.

Also, Finland is on UK’s Amber list, meaning that fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to quarantine upon return.

Kristiina Hietasaari, Director of Visit Finland, commented on the news:

We look forward to welcoming UK travellers back to explore our 188,000 lakes, the forest which covers more than 70% of our land and, of course, cities such as our capital Helsinki, renowned for its artistic and cultural offerings as well as its vibrant and innovative culinary scene. Across the country our tourism industry looks forward to warmly welcoming visitors from the UK for a safe travel experience.
