IHCL has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Udaipur, which is popularly known as the city of lakes. IHCL says that the hotel will be designed around the brand’s lean luxe design and service philosophy of offering a vibrant, contemporary, and seamless hospitality experience to its guests.
Ginger Udaipur will be located at RK Circle, a short distance from the commercial centres of the city as well as popular tourist spots such as Panchwati, Sahelion ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake and Monsoon Palace.
The hotel will consist of 59 Ginger’s new signature design guest rooms, Café Etcetera – the all-day diner, and a meeting room. The project is a fully fitted lease slated to open by April 2023.

The city of Udaipur is known for lakes as well as historic palaces and forts. This city was once the capital of Mewar and has a rich cultural heritage with museums, art galleries and traditional fairs.
With the addition of this hotel, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) will have five hotels in Udaipur, including two under development.
Meanwhile, Raffles’ debut property in India, Raffles Udaipur, opened earlier this month.
IHCL recently announced the signing of Vivanta Hotel, Ahmedabad, Vivanta Bengaluru Airport and the opening of Pilibhit House, an IHCL SeleQtions hotel in Haridwar, Vivanta Bhubaneswar and amã Stays and Trails, Munnar. A few months ago, the group also announced the opening of Vivanta Thiruvananthapuram.
