Canadian full service airline WestJet has announced a new seasonal Transatlantic service between Toronto and Dublin that will begin in May 2022. The announcement comes after the airline recently announced new nonstop flights to Scotland.
Starting 15th May 2022, WestJet will operate 4-weekly flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Dublin Airport. However, from 2nd June 2022 to 30th September 2022, the airline will ramp up the services to daily, before again switching back to 4-weekly from 1st October 2022 to 29th October 2022. The schedule for these flights is:
- Toronto-Dublin
- Departure time: 21:10
- Arrival time: 08:45 (the next day)
- Flight time: 6 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: WS34
- Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (from 2nd June 2022 to 30th September 2022, it will be daily flight)
- Dublin-Toronto
- Departure time: 10:05
- Arrival time: 12:40
- Flight time: 7 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: WS35
- Frequency: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (from 2nd June 2022 to 30th September 2022, it will be daily flight)

As demand increases, we know travellers are looking for convenient and affordable options for travel between Canada and Europe. As we continue to focus on expanding our network from our Toronto hub where we offer 33 international destinations, these flights will further strengthen business and leisure ties between Canada and Ireland and will increase connectivity between two key markets.
These flights will be operated by WestJet’s new Boeing B737MAX aircraft which feature 12 of WestJet’s new Premium Cabin seats and 162 standard Economy Class seats. The Premium Cabin seats offer 38 inches of legroom while the Economy Class seats offer 31-34 inches of legroom.
