All Nippon Airways plans to suspend as many as 16 international routes in its summer schedule which begins from 28th March,2021.

All Nippon Airways cited the continued impact of border restrictions and quarantine requirements for prompting the suspension of flights.
The largest carrier of Japan will suspend flights from Tokyo Narita to San Francisco, New York, and Taipei, as well as Osaka Kansai to Hong Kong.
The Star Alliance carrier will also postpone route launches from Tokyo Haneda to Istanbul, Milan, Moscow, San Jose, and Stockholm, until 31st October,2021, at the earliest. Meanwhile, the airline will also reduce services from Tokyo Haneda to Los Angeles, Sydney and Bangkok.

The airline says that it will continue to “monitor demand trends and resume or increase flights on a monthly basis” across its domestic and international network.
Following the decision to retire more than half of its Boeing 777 fleet, more of its long-haul flights will be operated by the smaller and cost-efficient Boeing B787 Dreamliner. Currently, All Nippon Airways is only operating 20% of its usual flights.
