airBaltic announces seasonal flights to Corfu, Greece

Latvian airline airBaltic has announced that it will fly to the resort island of Corfu in Greece from its hub at Riga.

Starting 12th June 2021, airBaltic will operate a once-weekly flight between Riga International Airport and Corfu Airport. This will be summer seasonal service and will be performed in cooperation with Mouzenidis Travel.

The flight schedule is:

  • Riga-Corfu
  • Departure time: 08:25
  • Arrival time: 11:20
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 55 minutes
  • Flight number: BT643
  • Frequency: Only Saturdays
  • Corfu-Riga
  • Departure time: 12:20
  • Arrival time: 15:20
  • Flight time: 3 hours
  • Flight number: BT644
  • Frequency: Only Saturdays

These flights will be operated by a Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer, airBaltic, said:

As vaccines become more available, growing number of people across the Baltics are starting to plan their safe summer getaways. We continue to improve our schedule to offer a larger variety of sunny destinations. In total, this year we plan to offer flights on 95 routes across the Baltics.

This summer, the airline will offer offers more than 70 direct destinations from Riga, including 7 destinations in Italy, 6 destinations in Greece and 6 destinations in Spain in addition to many other leisure destinations. The airline recently announced flights to Edinburgh, Scotland and Tenerife, Spain. Meanwhile, the carrier has also announced flights to Greece, Germany, UAE and Italy.
