Scandinavian Airlines to recommence flights to Tokyo

Scandinavian Airlines has announced plans to recommence flights to Tokyo, Japan.

Starting 10th July 2021, Scandinavian Airlines will once again operate flights between the Danish Capital and the Japanese capital. The return flight from Tokyo to Copenhagen will resume 2 days later, on 12th July 2021.

The flight schedule is:

  • Copenhagen-Tokyo Haneda
  • Departure time: 14:10
  • Arrival time: 07:55 (the next day)
  • Flight time: 10 hours and 45 minutes
  • Flight number: SK983
  • Frequency: Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Tokyo Haneda-Copenhagen
  • Departure time: 11:50
  • Arrival time: 16:10
  • Flight time: 11 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: SK984
  • Frequency: Mondays and Fridays

The twice-weekly service will be operated by a Airbus A330 featuring 32 Flat Bed business class seats, 56 SAS Plus seats (Premium economy recliner seats) and 174 standard economy class seats.

The airline recently announced plans to resume flights between Oslo and New York and also to launch a new route between Luleå and London.
