British Airways CityFlyer announces four new European routes for Summer 2022

British Airways CityFlyer has announced that it is launching four new routes across Europe in time for the summer season.

Operating from London City Airport, travellers can now book to fly to Barcelona, Luxembourg, Milan and Thessaloniki – adding to BA CityFlyer’s already extensive network.

Flights to all destinations will operate on BA CityFlyer’s Embraer E190 aircraft. Flights to Luxembourg and Milan will start on 27th March 2022 and both will operate daily while as of 18th June 2022, the airline will operate once-a-week (only on Saturdays) flight to Thessaloniki. On 19th June 2022, BA CityFlyer will start flights to Barcelona, operating 6-times-a-week except Saturdays.

A limited number of tickets start from the below fares, based on a return ticket in Euro Traveller:

• To Barcelona from £82 (flights will start on 19th June 2022 and will run till 4th September 2022)
• To Luxembourg from £82 (flights will start on 27th March 2022 and will run till 28th October 2022)
• To Milan from £104 (flights will start on 27th March 2022 and will run till 29th October 2022)
• To Thessaloniki from £126 (flights will start on 18th June 2022 and will run till 4th September 2022)

British Airways’ flights to Milan Malpensa Airport will replace flights to Milan Linate Airport.

Routes to Jersey and Guernsey will also return following the launch in Summer 2021. Flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays from 20th June 2022 to 2nd September 2022.

Meanwhile, British Airways recently announced the launch of its new short-haul low-cost subsidiary at London Gatwick Airport, with operations starting at the end of March 2022.
