Marriott’s Courtyard by Marriott brand has opened its newest hotel in India, Courtyard by Marriott Vadodara. This is the brand’s 4th hotel in the Indian state of Gujarat after Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad, Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad Sindhu Bhavan Road and Courtyard by Marriott Surat.
Location and Accommodations
Courtyard by Marriott Vadodara is located in the Sarabhai Campus on Alembic Road. Vadodara Airport is approximately 6.2 kilometers (3.9 miles) away from the hotel while Vadodara Railway Station is 3 kilometers away (1.85 miles). Nearby attractions include Lakshmi Vilas Palace, Sayaji Baug and Sayaji Baug Zoo among others.
The 12-storey hotel features 121 guest rooms, including 15 suites. The guest rooms and suites feature refined design elements, contemporary essentials, marble bathrooms and signature amenities.

Dining
812 CE – Urban Restaurant is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant offering delightful distinctive Indian fare and flavorful international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner with interactive buffet stations and A-La-Carte menu options. Brubon Cafe, located on the lobby level near the reception, is an On-the-go Deli and Coffee bar serving refreshing coffees, artisanal breads, homemade sandwiches and decadent cakes. The Deck is a rooftop lounge offering breathtaking panaromic views of Vadodara and serves multiple cuisines.
Facilities
Courtyard by Marriott Vadodara features a 24/7 fitness centre featuring cardiovascular equipment and weight. The hotel also has a indoor infinity swimming pool offering views of the city. The soon-to-open Sammoda Spa will offer treatments such as Foot bath, Manicures/pedicures and different types of massages in addition to a steam room. 5 event rooms are also available with a total events space of 10,085 square feet. The ballroom, one of the largest in the city, has a capacity of 400 guests.

Courtyard by Marriott is Marriott’s second hotel in Vadodara after Four Points by Sheraton Vadodara.
Recently, Hyatt also announced the opening of Hyatt Place Vadodara.
Meanwhile, Marriott recently announced that it will open Greece’s first W Hotel in Costa Nanarivo in Summer 2022.
