Star Air to launch service to Bhuj from Ahmedabad

Indian regional carrier Star Air has announced that it will launch a nonstop service to Bhuj from Ahmedabad and a connecting flight to Bhuj from Belgaum.

Starting 3rd June 2022, Star Air will operate 5-flights-a-week between Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and Bhuj Airport. The flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays will run with the following schedule:

• Ahmedabad-Bhuj
• Departure time: 11:00
• Arrival time: 12:00
• Flight time: 1 hour
• Flight number: S5157

• Bhuj-Ahmedabad
• Departure time: 12:30
• Arrival time: 13:30
• Flight time: 1 hour
• Flight number: S5158

The flights on Wednesdays will run with the following schedule:

• Ahmedabad-Bhuj
• Departure time: 16:10
• Arrival time: 17:10
• Flight time: 1 hour
• Flight number: S5157

• Bhuj-Ahmedabad
• Departure time: 17:35
• Arrival time: 18:35
• Flight time: 1 hour
• Flight number: S5158

Flights will be operated by Embraer E145LR (Long Range) aircraft featuring 50 standard Economy Class seats in a 1-2 configuration.

The airline will also provide a convenient connecting itinerary from Belagavi, Karnataka to Bhuj via Ahmedabad with a connection time of only 25 minutes.

Bhuj is Star Air’s 17th destination in India and 4th destination in the state of Gujarat with the other 3 being Jamnagar, Ahmedabad and Surat.

Bhuj is a city in the Kutch district of Gujarat and is the highest city in Kutch. Bhuj presently handles only 1 flight a day, which is operated by Alliance Air to Mumbai.

Bhuj is Star Air’s second destination in Gujarat in less than a year after it started flights to Jamnagar from Bengaluru and Hyderabad on 26th August 2021.
