Qatar Airways has announced the addition of Hamburg to its network, with flights starting next summer. This will be the airline’s fifth German destination after Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin and Düsseldorf.
Starting 1st July 2024, Qatar Airways will operate a daily service between Doha and Hamburg. Flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays will operate with the following schedule:
- Doha-Hamburg
- Departure time: 08:35
- Arrival time: 14:10
- Flight time: 6 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: QR89
- Hamburg-Doha
- Departure time: 15:40
- Arrival time: 22:40
- Flight time: 6 hours
- Flight number: QR90
Flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays will run with the following timings:
- Doha-Hamburg
- Departure time: 02:15
- Arrival time: 07:50
- Flight time: 6 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: QR91
- Doha-Hamburg
- Departure time: 09:20
- Arrival time: 16:20
- Flight time: 6 hours
- Flight number: QR92

Flights will operate with Boeing B787 Dreamliners featuring Business and Economy Class.
The airline has also announced that it will resume flights to Venice in Italy effective 12th June 2024. The daily service will operate with the following schedule:
- Doha-Venice
- Departure time: 09:00
- Arrival time: 14:20
- Flight time: 6 hours and 20 minutes
- Flight number: QR125
- Venice-Doha
- Departure time: 16:50
- Arrival time: 23:10
- Flight time: 5 hours and 20 minutes
- Flight number: QR126
These flights will also operate with B787 Dreamliners.

Qatar Airways says that Venice is “expected to see high demand from destinations such as Japan, China and Australia while Hamburg will serve as a gateway to South Africa, Thailand and the Philippines”.
