Hyatt has announced the opening of its newest hotel in India – Hyatt Place Aurangabad Airport. Let’s go over all the details.
Location
Hyatt Place Aurangabad Airport is located in Chikalthana MIDC area. As the name suggests, the hotel is located in close proximity to the airport (1 kilometre away) while the city’s railway station is 10 kilometers away. The famous Ellora Caves are located at a distance of 35 kilometers from the property.
Guests can also explore the grand Daulatabad Fort, the stunning Bibi ka Maqbara and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum.
Accommodations and Dining
The hotel features 150 guest rooms and suites, each with vibrant, local accents. The base rooms start at 34 square meters (374 square feet) and have views of the surrounding area or the hotel’s pool. The rooms feature a 55-inch smart television, a charging dock with Bluetooth connectivity and Hyatt Place’s signature sofa cum bed (available in suites).
The largest suite at the hotel is the King Suite with Balcony measuring 78 square meters (845 square feet). It features private balcony with views of the surrounding area, a separate living area, a walk-in wardrobe and a bathtub.
Dining options include Hyatt Place’s signature Zing Restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers Asian, Italian, and Indian cuisines, including authentic Maharashtrian meals and traditional sweets. The breakfast spread is a global feast, featuring local favourites like Poha and Misal Pav alongside international delights such as croissants and pancakes.
Zing Bar, located in the hotel’s lobby, offers a wide selection of drinks while The Market is the hotel’s 24-hour grab ‘n’ go venue at lobby level, serving freshly brewed coffee and bakery treats.
Facilities
Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Event spaces include a pillar-less ballroom, a boardroom and open-sky lawns.
Hyatt Place Aurangabad Airport is the 12th hotel under the Hyatt Place brand in India and the second in the state of Maharashtra, with the other one being in Pune. The brand is one of Hyatt’s fastest growing brands in India, having recently opened properties in Haridwar, Bodh Gaya, Goa, Jaipur and Vijayawada. Upcoming Hyatt Place hotels in India include one each in Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Greater Noida, Jaisalmer, Jalandhar, Kolhapur, Udaipur and Vithalapur.
Meanwhile, Hyatt recently announced the acquisition of Standard International and its hotel brands.
