Arq by The Leela is a new ultra-luxury collection of villas nestled along the shores of Lake Pichola. Shedding the notions of traditional luxury, it is “an intimate yet expansive symphony of experiences”. Each villa within Arq is a “masterpiece that seamlessly blends contemporary luxury with deep reverence for Indian heritage”. Design elements such as brass inlaid wooden floors, traditional Thikri artwork, and rare lapis stones create a tactile and visual journey, awakening the senses.
The Leela Udaipur calls Arq by The Leela as a “palace within a palace”. Designed for those who seek more, Arq offers curated programming tailored to each guest’s desires, from private culinary journeys to artistic immersions, ensuring an experience that surpasses traditional luxury.

“Arq” in Sanskrit means “distilled essence”. The Lake Villa is spread across 360 square meters and comes with a living area overlooking the outdoor deck featuring a temperature-controlled pool and jacuzzi.
The Lake Villa with Private Deck measures 480 square meters while the Family Villa is the largest at 803 square meters and comes with two bedrooms overlooking a tranquil central courtyard and a private, temperature-controlled pool and jacuzzi.
A stay in one of these villas includes:
- Round-trip airport transfers
- Arrival by a dedicated electric private boat, offering a grand and exclusive welcome
- A regal arrival experience, complete with a petal shower
- A soothing foot ritual upon arrival
- Evening cocktail hours (4–6 pm), where a skilled mixologist crafts bespoke cocktails, complemented by a private chef preparing a curated grill menu
- Breakfast in the Dining Room or in the villa
- An in-room bar stocked with premium liquor selections, all included in the stay rate

The unveiling of Arq by The Leela in Udaipur is the first in a series of spaces under the Arq by The Leela name that will be introduced across The Leela’s portfolio.
