Originally slated to launch the Airbus A350 on India flights starting February 2025, Emirates has brought it forward, with A350 flights to Mumbai and Ahmedabad now starting on 26th January 2025.
Emirates A350 to India
Starting 26th January 2025, coinciding with India’s 75th Republic Day, Emirates will operate a daily flight from Dubai (DXB) to both Mumbai (BOM) and Ahmedabad (AMD) using its new Airbus A350 aircraft.
The schedule is as follows:
- Mumbai: The Emirates A350 will operate daily on EK502 and EK503. EK502 departs Dubai at 1315hrs, arriving in Mumbai at 1750hrs. The return flight, EK503 leaves Mumbai at 1920hrs, arriving in Dubai at 2105hrs.
- Ahmedabad: The A350 aircraft will operate the route daily on EK538 and EK539. EK538 will depart Dubai at 2250hrs, arriving in Ahmedabad at 0255hrs (next day). EK539 will depart Ahmedabad at 0425hrs to arrive back in Dubai at 0615hrs.

With this, Emirates A350 will serve five destinations: Edinburgh, Kuwait, Bahrain, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The A350s will replace the older B777-200LRs on the above mentioned flights to Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
The airline says that the deployment of A350 on flights to India “featuring the airline’s latest interiors, industry-first technologies and innovations, reinforces Emirates’ commitment to customers in India and beyond”.
The airline also currently serves Mumbai and Bangalore with daily services on its flagship A380 aircraft, featuring First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class. The airline serves nine destinations in India, operating 167-flights-a-week.



Emirates A350
Emirates currently has three A350-900 aircraft in its fleet, with 62 more to be delivered. The aircraft features 32 lie-flat Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats and 259 standard Economy Class seats.
The airline will soon deploy A350 aircraft on flights to four more destinations – Colombo (starting 1st March 2025), Lyon (starting 1st June 2025), Muscat (starting 1st July 2025) and Bologna (starting 1st July 2025). The airline has also said that it will announce new destinations that are up to 15 hours from Dubai.
