Air Astana to launch flights to Mumbai

Air Astana has announced the addition of Mumbai to its network, with flights beginning in April 2025.

Starting 20th April 2025, Air Astana will operate three-flights-a-week between Almaty (ALA) and Mumbai (BOM). Flights on Wednesdays will operate with the following timings:

  • Almaty-Mumbai
  • Departure time: 09:05
  • Arrival time: 14:25
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 50 minutes
  • Flight number: KC291

  • Mumbai-Almaty
  • Departure time: 15:25
  • Arrival time: 19:15
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: KC292

Flights on Thursdays will run with the following schedule:

  • Almaty-Mumbai
  • Departure time: 20:20
  • Arrival time: 01:40 (the next day)
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 50 minutes
  • Flight number: KC291

  • Mumbai-Almaty
  • Departure time: 02:40
  • Arrival time: 06:30
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: KC292
  • Note: This flight will be operated on Fridays

Flights on Sundays will operate with the following schedule:

  • Almaty-Mumbai
  • Departure time: 04:35
  • Arrival time: 09:55
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 50 minutes
  • Flight number: KC291

  • Mumbai-Almaty
  • Departure time: 11:00
  • Arrival time: 14:45
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 15 minutes
  • Flight number: KC292

Flights on Wednesdays and Sundays will be operated by the airlineโ€™s A320neo aircraft featuring 16 Business Class and 132 standard Economy Class seats while those on Thursdays (Fridays ex-Mumbai) will be operated by the larger A321neo aircraft featuring 28 Business Class and 151 standard Economy Class seats.

With the Indian economy growing strongly, Air Astana is delighted to launch services to Mumbai, a vibrant and flourishing metropolis driven by trade, finance and enterprise. Business and leisure travellers will now be able to experience the excellence of Air Astanaโ€™s in-services when flying between Kazakhstanโ€™s and Indiaโ€™s most commercial cities.

The airline is celebrating 20 years of service between India and Kazakhstan by launching this new route and expanding its presence in India. The airline operates a daily service between Almaty (ALA) and Delhi (DEL).
