Marriott is soon going to make a re-entry in Udaipur, Rajasthan, with the opening of Udaipur Marriott Hotel. The hotel is now accepting reservations for stays starting 15th April 2025.
Udaipur Marriott Hotel – Location and Design
Udaipur Marriott Hotel will be a flagship property in Udaipur, Rajasthan, popularly known as the city of lakes. Located near the picturesque Fateh Sagar Lake, the hotel blends contemporary luxury with Rajasthani heritage. Nestled amid lush greenery, the hotel offers an escape where nature’s beauty meets refined elegance.

Udaipur’s Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) is located 26 kilometers away from the property. Attractions like the majestic City Palace, Fateh Sagar, and Lake Pichola are located nearby.
Accommodations
Udaipur Marriott Hotel features 226 guest rooms and suites, offering breathtaking views of the Aravalli mountains or the lake. The base rooms – the Deluxe Rooms – start at a generous 40 square meters (431 square feet). Each room is designed with modern and contemporary Rajasthani-inspired decor.



The largest room at the property is the Luxury Suite, spread across 95 square meters (1022 square feet).

Dining and Facilities
Guests will enjoy a variety of dining experiences across four unique venues. Okra is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant serving an array of local and global delicacies while Udaipur Baking Co. serves a selection of aromatic coffees and freshly baked pastries in addition to light bites. Opal Lounge is is a premium lounge concept that blends an elegant ambiance with expertly crafted cocktails and inventive small plates. It also features a cozy library corner, offering book lovers a perfect space. Ayana features an impressive array of grilled and barbequed delicacies in addition to a premium drinks menu.

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool on the top floor, a fitness centre and QUAN Spa. The grand staircase, adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, will serve as a spectacular photo-op, making it an ideal venue for weddings and events.

Rates
Currently, the hotel is accepting reservations for stays starting 15th April 2025. Rates for the Deluxe Rooms, which are the base rooms, start at ₹21,859 (US$252) per night for Marriott Bonvoy members and ₹23,010 (US$266) for non-members. Rates for the Luxury Suite, the largest room at the hotel, start at ₹38,674 (US$447) per night for members and ₹40,710 (US$470) per night for non-members. These prices are room-only and include taxes.
Rates for Deluxe Rooms with breakfast start at ₹23,541 (US$272)per night for members and ₹24,780 (US$286) per night for non-members while for the Luxury Suite, they are ₹40,356 (US$466) per night and ₹42,480 (US$490) per night for members and non-members respectively.
The hotel is currently running a Grand Opening Offer for stays between 15th April and 15th July 2025. It includes breakfast, dinner, ₹2,000 (US$23) spa credit and 20% Food&Beverage coupon per night. The rates under this offer for Deluxe Rooms start at ₹27,140 (US$314) per night and ₹44,840 (US$518) per night for Luxury Suite.
Marriott’s re-entry in Udaipur
A few years ago, Marriott had a Sheraton Hotel in Udaipur, which was taken over by Radisson and is currently being run as a Radisson Blu. Udaipur Marriott Hotel marks the re-entry of the hospitality group in Udaipur.
Udaipur’s hospitality market is changing rapidly, with several new hotels scheduled to open in the next two years. Udaipur Marriott Hotel will mark a good addition to the hospitality market of the city. There’s also a JW Marriott Resort scheduled to open in the city sometime in the future.
