British Airways is dropping many long-haul routes for the summer of 2021.

Except for CityFlyer routes from Manchester and London Stansted (which will be replaced by flights from Southampton), the route cuts are primarily observed on long-haul flights.
Routes that are terminated include flights from London Heathrow to Charleston, Calgary, Abu Dhabi, Dammam via Bahrain, Seoul and Osaka and from London Gatwick to New York-JFK, Toronto, Lima and Cape Town among others.
Permanent suspension from Summer 2021 season onwards:
- Seoul
- Durban
- Dammam
- Lima
- Pittsburgh
- Charleston
- Calgary
- Kuala Lumpur
- Abu Dhabi
- Muscat
- Osaka
- Seychelles – last service on 24th April,2021
- Jeddah – short adhoc operation to continue over Hajj period in July 2021
Suspension during the summer of 2021 (until 30th October,2021) include:
- Sydney
- San Jose – last service on 17th April,2021
- Bangkok
