ITC Hotels has announced the opening of WelcomHotel Shimla marking the WelcomHotel’s debut in the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh in India.
WelcomHotel Shimla is located 10 kms from the hot spots of Shimla. This property is the erstwhile Fortune Select Cedar Trail Shimla and is now rebranded as WelcomHotel Shimla.
Rooms and Suites
The hotel features 47 rooms and suites in 3 categories namely Deluxe Room, Superior Room and Suite Room. All the rooms overlook the picturesque Mashobra valley.
Dining
WelcomHotel offers its guests two dining options to choose from: one is the ‘Welcomcafe Cedar’ and another is ‘Swizzle’.
Welcomcafe Cedar is an all-day dining restaurant serving seasonal specialties along with signature Indian and international dishes. Indulge in a culinary treat with WelcomSthalika, an assortment of popular regional dishes that come laid out on a single platter.
Head to Swizzle bar to enjoy signature cocktails and premium wines with unlimited nature views.
Facilities
For meetings and events, the hotel has 295 sqm indoor banquet spaces and 323 sqm outdoor venue called “Sunset Garden”.
The soon to open ‘K by Kaya Kalp’ the spa will offer signature therapies, holistic rituals, and personalised wellness experiences like yoga and zumba.
The property also has a gym offering expansive nature views.
The hotel has indoor and outdoor activities like chess, kids’ play corner and guided local tours. The outdoor golf putting area is soon to open. Young guests can enjoy fun activities at “Ollies Club”.
WelcomHotel Shimla also offers its guests a host of experiences including bird watching, cycling within the Shimla Wildlife Sanctuary or picnics, heritage walk, and camping in the greens.
