Air France to connect Paris with Helsinki with year-round flights

Air France is further strengthening its presence in Northern Europe. The airline has announced that it will connect the French capital with the Finnish capital with a year-round service.

Helsinki flights

Starting 6th July 2021, Air France will start flying between Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport with Helsinki. Initially, the flight will operate 4-times-a-week before becoming a daily service from 19th July 2021.

Flight schedule:

  • Paris-Helsinki
  • Departure time: 13:00
  • Arrival time: 17:00
  • Flight time: 3 hours
  • Flight number: AF1070
  • Frequency: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
  • Daily from 19th July 2021
  • Helsinki-Paris
  • Departure time: 17:45

  • Flight time: 3 hours and 5 minutes
  • Flight number: AF1071
  • Frequency: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

The French flag carrier will be deploying its Airbus A319 featuring 143 seats on this route. However, the airline is expecting to receive its 1st A220-300 in September, so it is likely that the A319 will be replaced with one of these new jets.

These flights will be in addition to those operated by Finnair on this route and operated by Air France on a codeshare basis.

This new route completes Air France’s offer in the Nordics, where the airline already serves Copenhagen and Billund in Denmark, Oslo and Bergen in Norway, as well as Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden.

Meanwhile, Air France recently announced flights from Paris to Denver.
