Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of two new Taj Hotels in Bhutan. The hospitality company already operates a property in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
The Taj resort in Paro will feature 45 guest rooms and suites, surrounded by protected forests in a tranquil oasis in the lap of nature & graced by a stream running along the property. Spread across 7.6 acres, the retreat will offer an all-day diner, speciality restaurant and bar, complemented by recreational amenities including an indoor swimming pool, gym, spa and meeting facilities. Steeped in history, Paro, boasts sacred sites and historical buildings set against a breath-taking backdrop of snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

Nestled in the enchanting Phobjikha valley, the Taj resort will feature 34 guest rooms and suites. Spread over 3.5 acres, the property will feature an all-day-diner, alfresco speciality restaurant, bar along with spa and fitness facilities. Phobjikha promises adventurous journeys, from mountain treks to visits to the venerable Gangtey Monastery, all amidst a serene environment that leaves a lasting impression.
