Canada-based Ultra low cost carrier Flair Airlines yesterday announced that it will launch flights from Grande Prairie, Alberta. The airline says that ‘for less than the cost of a meal for two people’, travellers can fly nonstop to Toronto and Vancouver.
Flights to Grande Prairie
Starting 1st August 2021, Flair Airlines will operate twice-weekly flights between Vancouver and Grande Prairie. Flight schedule is:
- Vancouver-Grande Prairie
- Departure time: 19:40
- Arrival time: 21:55
- Flight time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Flight number: F8714
- Frequency: Mondays and Fridays
- Grande Prairie-Vancouver
- Departure time: 22:40
- Arrival time: 22:55
- Flight time: 1 hour and 15 minutes

- Frequency: Mondays and Fridays
As of 4th August 2021, the airline will fly twice-a-week between Toronto and Grande Prairie. Flight schedule is:
- Toronto-Grande Prairie
- Departure time: 13:00
- Arrival time: 15:40
- Flight time: 4 hours and 40 minutes

- Frequency: Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Grande Prairie-Toronto
- Departure time: 16:40
- Arrival time: 22:50
- Flight time: 4 hours and 10 minutes

Grande Prairie is Flair’s 20th destination and 4th destination in Alberta. To celebrate the launch of the route, Flair is offering attractive prices with Vancouver route offered at $39CAD ($31.5) and Toronto route offered at $49CAD ($40). The airline says that there are limited seats and limited availability at these prices.

Kitchener Waterloo-Kelowna flights
In addition to a new destination, Flair Airlines has also announced a new route. Starting 1st August 2021, the carrier will fly twice-weekly between Kitchener-Waterloo and Kelowna. Flight schedule is:
- Kitchener Waterloo-Kelowna
- Departure time: 20:30
- Arrival time: 22:10
- Flight time: 4 hours and 40 minutes
- Flight number: F8319
- Frequency: Wednesdays and Sundays
- Kelowna-Kitchener Waterloo
- Departure time: 23:00
- Arrival time: 06:01 (the next day)
- Flight time: 4 hours and 01 minutes
- Flight number: F8320
- Frequency: Wednesdays and Sundays
The announcement comes just days after Flair Airlines announced 8 new routes from Ottawa, the capital of Canada.
