Indian low cost carrier SpiceJet has announced that it is resuming flights between Delhi and Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh from 20th June 2021.
Resumption
In a tweet, SpiceJet has announced that starting tomorrow (20th June 2021), it will once again operate flights between Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and Dharamshala Airport in Himachal Pradesh. The airline will initially operate twice-daily flights and from July, it will increase to 3-daily flights.
The schedule for the 1st flight of the day is:
- Delhi-Dharamshala
- Departure time: 07:30
- Arrival time: 09:00
- Flight time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Flight number: SG2345
- Frequency: Daily
- Dharamshala-Dharamshala
- Departure time: 09:20
- Arrival time: 10:55
- Flight time: 1 hour and 35 minutes
- Flight number: SG2346
- Frequency: Daily
The schedule for the 2nd flight of the day is:
- Delhi-Dharamshala
- Departure time: 09:50
- Arrival time: 11:00
- Flight time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
- Flight number: SG3235
- Frequency: Daily
- Dharamshala-Delhi
- Departure time: 11:20
- Arrival time: 12:50
- Flight time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Flight number: SG3236
- Frequency: Daily
As of 1st July 2021, SpiceJet will operate 3-daily flights between the Indian capital and Dharamshala. The schedule for this flight will be:

- Arrival time: 15:10
- Flight time: 1 hour and 25 minutes

All the 3 flights will be operated by a De Havilland Canada Dash-8 aircraft featuring 78 standard economy class seats. Seats 1A, 1B, 2D and 2E are marketed as ‘SpiceMax’ seats which have benefits like extra legroom, priority check-in, priority boarding, priority baggage and complimentary mean with a choice of beverage.
Air India’s subsidiary airline, Alliance Air operates a daily morning flight between Delhi and Dharamshala.
Dharamshala Airport is a regional airport located at Gaggal in the North Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The airport serves Dharamshala and the surrounding areas and is the largest airport in the state.
As per the latest guidelines, negative RT-PCR test is no longer required to present when entering Himachal Pradesh.
