Accor’s Mercure brand debuts in Greece with a hotel in Rhodes

Accor’s Mercure brand has opened its first property in Greece, Mercure Rhodes Alexia, a stylish city retreat on the island of Rhodes.

Located in the heart of Rhodes, Mercure Rhodes Alexia is located in the epicentere of Rhodian life, with Niochori Beach lying only 50 meters away, and cultural sites like the Castle in the Old Town, Mandraki Port and the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights less than 2 kilometres away.

Rhodes is home to miles of Aegean coastline and 49 Blue Flag awarded beaches – the second most in all of Greece. The island is a cultural landmark in its own right, with a long and rich history as the centre of the Dodecanese. Its medieval city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, serving as an enduring symbol of the island’s proud past.

The hotel consists of 136 rooms with most of them offering sea views.

Mercure Rhodes Alexia features two restaurants, both offering an extensive range of contemporary flavours infused with traditional techniques.

Maria – Annna Soulounias, Owner and CEO of Mercure Rhodes Alexia, said:
