Indian low-cost carrier SpiceJet has announced that it will launch flights between Belagavi and Delhi in August.

Starting 13th August 2021, SpiceJet will operate twice-weekly flights between Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and Belagavi Airport.

- Flight time: 2 hours and 15 minutes
- Flight number: SG205
- Frequency: Mondays and Fridays
- Belagavi-Delhi
- Departure time: 17:05
- Arrival time: 19:25
- Flight time: 2 hours and 20 minutes
- Flight number: SG206
- Frequency: Mondays and Fridays
SpiceJet will deploy a Boeing B737-700 featuring 149 economy class seats on this route.

Belagavi now well connected
Belagavi is now well connected to the rest of the country. With the addition of this flight, the airport will have air connectivity to a total of 13 cities across India. Presently, five airlines operate flights to/from Belagavi. These are: Indigo, SpiceJet, Alliance Air, Star Air and Trujet.
From Belagavi, Indigo operates flights to Bengaluru and Hyderabad; SpiceJet flies to Hyderabad and Mumbai (and now Delhi); Star Air flies to Jodhpur, Nashik, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Surat and Indore; Trujet operates flights to Tirupati, Hyderabad, Kadapa and Mysore & Alliance Air flies to Pune.
Meanwhile, SpiceJet recently announced 42 new domestic and international flights including flights to Maldives as the country is now welcoming travellers from India. The airline has also announced flights from Hyderabad to Kochi and from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam and Guwahati. SpiceJet has launched nonstop flights between Rajkot and Goa, becoming the first airline to operate the route. The carrier has also launched flights between Mumbai and Amritsar.
