Frontier Airlines reveals 5 new routes from Tampa, Florida

Low cost carrier Frontier Airlines has announced 5 new routes from Tampa, Florida. With the addition of these flights, Frontier will offer 26 nonstop routes from Tampa. To celebrate the new service, Frontier is offering introductory fares starting at $39.

Frontier Airlines’ new routes from Tampa International Airport include:

  • Rochester, New York : starting 30th November 2021 – 4-times-a-week
  • New York LaGuardia : starting 1st December 2021 – 3-times-a-week
  • Green Bay, Wisconsin : starting 16th December 2021 – 2-times-a-week
  • Bloomington, Illinois : starting 17th December 2021 – 2-times-a-week
  • Columbus, Ohio : starting 17th December 2021 – 3-times-a-week

Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commercial, Frontier Airlines, said:

We’re excited to grow in our newest base city, Tampa, with five new nonstop routes beginning right in time for the winter travel season. Tampa continues to shine, literally and figuratively, as a destination people want to visit, especially in the winter months. Moreover, this new service is a convenient, affordable option for Tampa Bay residents to take a trip and explore historic U.S. cities, including Columbus and New York City.

Frontier states that it is among Tampa’s fastest growing airlines and established a crew base in Tampa this past spring.

Joe Lopano, CEO, Tampa International Airport, said:

Tampa International Airport welcomes this expanding partnership with Frontier, which clearly recognizes the Tampa Bay area as one of the top places in the country to live, work and visit. Not only do these routes add new low-cost connections for our local residents, but they bring more northern and Midwestern visitors to our award-winning beaches, hotels, restaurants and attractions.

Meanwhile, Frontier recently announced 20 new routes and 5 new destinations. The airline has announced 21 new flights from Dallas, Denver and Las Vegas too. Frontier has also announced 15 new routes, including 9 from Miami.
