Osaka is a large port city and the commercial centre of Japan. Only a short shinkansen ride from Tokyo, it has a very different personality as compared to the country’s capital. Osaka is the capital and the most populous city in Osaka Prefecture, and the third most populous city in Japan. 10. Courtyard by Marriott Shinosaka Station, Osaka
