Indigo, India’s largest carrier, has announced the launch of 12 new domestic flights, in which 10 are already launched and 2 will be launched in the near future.
On 1st November 2021, Indigo started flights between Ahmedabad and Jodhpur while on 2nd November 2021, the low cost carrier launched flights between Bengaluru and Rajkot, Kolkata and Coimbatore, Delhi and Trivandrum & Dibrugarh and Dimapur. The airline will start flights between Ahmedabad and Ranchi on 10th November 2021.

These flights will be operated by a mix of Airbus A320 and ATR72-699 aircraft. The airline said that these flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travellers.
Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, Indigo, said:
These routes will enhance connectivity between northern, eastern, northeastern, western, and southern regions, promoting trade and commerce. We will continue to offer new routes as per the travel demand across various sectors.
Meanwhile, Indigo recently announced flights to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, its 71st domestic destination.
