GoFirst Airlines, India’s first Ultra low cost carrier and formerly known as GoAir, has announced the addition of Surat, Gujarat to its network. Surat will be the airline’s second destination in the Indian state of Gujarat after Ahmedabad.
Surat to Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata
Starting 11th November 2021, GoFirst will start twice-daily flights between Surat International Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. On the same day, the airline will start daily flight between Surat Airport and Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport & Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport.

All of these flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.
Surat is becoming a crowded market
With the entry to GoFirst, Surat will now receive service from 6 airlines – Indigo, Air India, SpiceJet, Star Air, Air India Express and GoFirst.
Indigo is the largest carrier at Surat Airport with multiple daily flights to cities across India. With the addition of GoFirst, Surat will have 8 daily flights to Delhi which will be the highest in the airport’s history. Kolkata will have 3-4 daily flights while Bengaluru will have 2 daily flights from Surat.
Meanwhile, GoFirst recently launched new nonstop flights to Doha, Qatar.
