Indigo has announced that it will operate Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights on Chennai-Singapore route. The announcement comes after Singapore reached an agreement with India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation on the resumption of scheduled commercial passenger flights and India announced an air bubble agreement with Singapore.
The airline, in a press release, said that it will operate flights on Chennai-Singapore route with a total of 3,618 seats per week under the Vaccinated Travel Lane. Out of the 3,618 seats per week allotted to Indigo, 1,624 seats will be operated on the Chennai – Singapore route under VTL and the rest of the capacity will be utilised under non-VTL conditions for travel to and from Singapore.
Applications for vaccinated travel passes for short-term visitors and long-term pass holders from India will start on 29th November 2021.

Ronojoy Dutta, CEO, Indigo, said:
As we eventually come out of the pandemic, we are happy to resume flights to Singapore under the air bubble agreement. International connectivity under air bubble arrangement has been helpful in slowly bringing back the international travel demand. The situation is improving rapidly, and we are hopeful that this will further help citizens of India and Singapore to travel with ease for various purposes.
Passengers travelling on VTL flights to Singapore will not be required to quarantine on arrival. However, passengers travelling on a VTL flight entering Singapore will be required two COVID-19 tests – one within two days of flight departure and one on-arrival at Singapore’s Changi airport.
Recently, Singapore Airlines announced VTL flights from Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai to Singapore.
Meanwhile, Indigo recently announced the launch of 12 new domestic flights.

How to book vtl indigo flight Singapore.. I had entry approval on 11 th december.. Pls guide me..
Hello,
I assume you have already applied for Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) for Singapore as you have approval for travel from 11th December 2021. Once you have got your VTP, you just need to book designated VTL flights. Indigo only operates VTL flights from Chennai to Singapore so if you are not flying from Chennai then first you will need to reach Chennai. Only then will you be able to catch a VTL flight to Singapore. Indigo, on its website, states that all of its Chennai-Singapore flights are VTL flights, so you just need to book any flight on between Chennai and Singapore and you will be good to go.
Note: When you search a flight on Indigo’s booking engine, you will see a message in Yellow at the top of the website saying that all flights between Chennai and Singapore are VTL flights.
