IHCL has announced the opening of its first hotel in Sikkim, Vivanta Sikkim, Pakyong. The stylishly designed hotel is set amidst lush paddy fields and bamboo forests with stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas.

Built along the natural contours of a mountain slope, the semi-open style embraces the great outdoors where the rocks and trees occurring on site, seamlessly blend and flow with the structure, as do two gurgling brooks that envelop the property on either side, flowing perennially. Lush landscaped gardens and lawns along many levels mimic terraced paddy fields of the adjoining countryside. The quiet Zen Garden centrally located allows for a mindful mingling with the elements.

Reception area

The hotel features 50 guest rooms and suites which are both spacious and stylishly designed. The rooms comes with views of either the paddy fields or the valley. Some suites also come with a pool view.
