Delta Airlines has announced that it is ramping up flight frequency on Los Angeles-Sydney route from December 2022.
Starting 16th December 2022, Delta will operate 10-flights-a-week between Los Angeles International Airport and Sydney Airport. Presently, the airline operates a daily flight between the two cities with the following schedule:
- Los Angeles-Sydney
- Departure time: 22:45
- Arrival time: 06:45 (+2 days)
- Flight time: 15 hours
- Flight number: DL41
- Frequency: Daily
- Sydney-Los Angeles
- Departure time: 09:35
- Arrival time: 06:05
- Flight time: 13 hours and 30 minutes
- Flight number: DL40
- Frequency: Daily

However, from 16th December 2022, the airline will operate 3 more flights a week between the two cities with the following schedule:
- Los Angeles-Sydney
- Departure time: 23:30
- Arrival time: 09:15 (+2 days)
- Flight time: 14 hours and 45 minutes
- Flight number: DL43
- Frequency: Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
- Sydney-Los Angeles
- Departure time: 23:30
- Arrival time: 09:15 (+2 days)
- Flight time: 14 hours and 45 minutes
- Flight number: DL43
- Frequency: Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays
All of the flights will be operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft featuring Delta One suites (Business Class), Delta Premium Select (Premium Economy), Delta Comfort+ (standard Economy Class with extra legroom) and Main Cabin (standard Economy Class). Passengers can connect to/from Los Angeles to/from over 50 destinations in the United States and Latin America.
Meanwhile, Delta recently announced new sustainable on-board soft products.
