Air India boosts services to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Seoul

Air India has announced that it is increasing capacity on Bangkok, Hong Kong and Seoul routes in the upcoming summer season schedule.

As of 26th March 2023, Air India will fly 6-additional-times a week to Bangkok, three each from Delhi and Mumbai. From the same day, the airline will also operate additional weekly flights from Delhi to Hong Kong and Seoul Incheon.

The additional services will be operated by Boeing B787-8 Dreamliners featuring 18 Business Class seats and 236 standard Economy Class seats.

Currently, Air India flies 4-weekly to Bangkok both from Mumbai and Delhi. On the Seoul route, the airline currently flies 3-weekly from Delhi while on the Hong Kong route, the airline currently flies 2-weekly from Delhi.

With these additions, Air India and Air India Express will collectively offer 67 weekly services to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore and Tokyo from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Trichy and Madurai.

  • Mumbai-Bangkok

  • Arrival time: 19:35

Recently, Air India also resumed flights to Vienna, Milan and Copenhagen as part of its international expansion strategy.

Meanwhile, Air India recently placed the largest order in the history of aviation, ordering 470 aircraft from both Airbus and Boeing.
