Akasa Air to start flights to Port Blair

Akasa Air has announced the addition of Port Blair to its network. Port Blair will be the airline’s 17th destination.

Starting 15th December 2023, Akasa Air will operate a daily direct flight between Bengaluru and Port Blair via Chennai. Passengers travelling from Bengaluru to Port Blair and vice-versa will not be required to disembark and change the aircraft in Chennai.

The flights will operate with the following schedule:

  • Bengaluru-Chennai
  • Departure time: 06:00
  • Arrival time: 07:05
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 05 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1485

  • Chennai-Port Blair
  • Departure time: 07:45
  • Arrival time: 09:55
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 10 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1485

  • Port Blair-Chennai
  • Departure time: 10:35
  • Arrival time: 13:00
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 25 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1486

  • Bengaluru-Chennai
  • Departure time: 13:35
  • Arrival time: 14:50
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1486

Flights will be operated by Boeing B737MAX-8 aircraft in an all-Economy configuration.
