Air Asia, which is expanding in India rapidly, has announced the addition of Lucknow to its network. The airline will launch flights to Lucknow this September.
Starting 13th September 2024, Air Asia will operate 3-flights-a-week between Kuala Lumpur and Lucknow with the following schedule:
- Kuala Lumpur-Lucknow
- Departure time: 19:10
- Arrival time: 21:25
- Flight time: 4 hours and 45 minutes
- Flight number: AK15
- Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- Lucknow-Kuala Lumpur
- Departure time: 22:00
- Arrival time: 05:25 (the next day)
- Flight time: 4 hours and 55 minutes
- Flight number: AK14
- Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. This marks the airline’s 16th direct route to India.

Air Asia currently operates flights from Kuala Lumpur to Trivandrum, Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, New Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Visakhapatnam, Ahmedabad, Kozhikode, Bhubaneswar and Guwahati in India.
