IndiGo has announced the addition of Kishangarh, Rajasthan to its network. Flights begin in March 2025.
IndiGo to Kishangarh
Starting 1st March 2025, IndiGo will operate a daily service between Ahmedabad (AMD) and Kishangarh (KQH) with the following schedule:
- Ahmedabad-Kishangarh
- Departure time: 07:45
- Arrival time: 09:10
- Flight time: 1 hour and 20 minutes
- Flight number: 6E7401
- Kishangarh-Ahmedabad
- Departure time: 09:30
- Arrival time: 11:00
- Flight time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Flight number: 6E7402
These flights will be operated by IndiGo’s ATR72-600 aircraft featuring 78 standard Economy Class seats. Kishangarh marks IndiGo’s 91st domestic and 129th overall destination in the 6E network. It will be the 6th destination for the low-cost carrier in Rajasthan after Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner.

Kishangarh, also known as the ‘Marble City of India’ (known for its marble markets) is our 6th destination in Rajasthan after Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Bikaner. IndiGo will be the only airline to fly between the two cities. From Ahmedabad, the airline operates over 550 weekly flights connecting 36 cities across its network.
Starting 31st March 2025, the flights’ timings will be revised along with the flight numbers:
- Ahmedabad-Kishangarh
- Departure time: 16:20
- Arrival time: 17:40
- Flight time: 1 hour and 20 minutes
- Flight number: 6E7283
- Kishangarh-Ahmedabad
- Departure time: 18:20
- Arrival time: 19:50
- Flight time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Flight number: 6E7184
About Kishangarh
Presently, Kishangarh Airport is served by only one airline – Star Air. It operates flights to Nagpur (NAG), Pune (PNQ), Lucknow (LKO) and Ghaziabad Hindon (HDO).
Kishangarh Airport was inaugurated in 2017 as part of the Indian Government’s Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). SpiceJet was the first airline to start operations, but as with many other destinations in its network, it has stopped operations there. The airport is not that big, with a 2000-metre runway and an apron capable of handling two ATRs simultaneously. The airport primarily serves Kishangarh city as well as the holy cities of Pushkar and Ajmer, both located nearby.
IndiGo may be targeting connecting passengers through its Ahmedabad hub as well as O&D (Origin & Destination) traffic between Ahmedabad and Kishangarh. There are only a handful of destinations which see just a single daily or twice-daily ATR flights, with some of them being Diu, Shivamogga, Bikaner and Pondicherry, & now Kishangarh joins that list.
