Naukuchia House – IHCL SeleQtions is located in the scenic town of Naukuchiatal, Uttarakhand. Nestled at an elevation of over 4,000 feet in Kumaon foothills of the Himalayas, the charming retreat is set against the backdrop of the picturesque Naukuchiatal lake.
The hotel features 42 guest rooms and suites and is surrounded by mist-laden forests and the pristine spring-fed mountain lake. The resort’s signature dining venues include Ija, an all-day restaurant with alfresco seating, offering authentic Kumaoni flavours alongside a curated multi-cuisine selection; Himmaleh, a lounge & bar to unwind in an atmosphere of understated elegance, inspired by the Himalayas and a speciality restaurant featuring breath-taking views of the lake.
The opening of Naukuchia House – IHCL SeleQtions is a testament to IHCL’s dedication to curating regional-centric experiences in emerging tourist destinations. This will be our fifth hotel in partnership with Leisure Hotels Group since 2013 reflecting a shared vision to establish and showcase unique and off-beat leisure locations of India.

Facilities include a temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool and a spa. The hotel provides “exclusive” access to Naukuchiatal Lake. Other immersive experiences at the resort include forest bathing, stargazing, private picnics, and nature trails like the Ghanta Devi trail.

Often referred to as the ‘lake of nine corners’, Naukuchiatal is a serene and picturesque destination in Uttarakhand. Naukuchiatal is also an ecological treasure, home to diverse flora and fauna, including the Yellow Billed Blue Magpie, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 17 hotels in Uttarakhand including 7 under development.
