IHCL signs a Taj Resort in Alibaug

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Taj Resort in Alibaug, Maharashtra.

Taj Alibaug Resort & Spa is a conversion project, meaning an existing resort will be converted into a Taj property. The resort will feature 156 guest rooms and suites.

It will feature all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant – Konkan Café,celebrating the local cuisine, a bar, and a lobby lounge. Guests can also indulge in a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and Taj’s signature J Wellness Spa.

Alibaug’s proximity to Mumbai and Pune has positioned it as a key leisure destination in Maharashtra. Its infrastructure and improved connectivity make it a preferred choice for events and getaways and Taj will further its luxury offerings on the other side of the shore in Mumbai.

A picturesque coastal town known for its pristine beaches, historic forts, and vibrant local culture, Alibaug is a favoured escape from Mumbai’s fast-paced life. 

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 38 hotels in Maharashtra with 14 under development.
