Icelandair has announced that it has finalised its order with Airbus for up to 25 Airbus A321XLR aircraft, thus becoming a new Airbus customer. The airline will use these aircraft to phase out the older Boeing B767 and B757 fleet.
JetBlue has announced that it is expanding its codeshare partnership with Icelandair, the national carrier of Iceland, in order to offer passengers “more ways to book and connect their travel between the two airlines’ networks across Europe and North America”.
There is some good news for travellers flying out of Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport in Maryland. Icelandair is coming to Baltimore with nonstop Transatlantic flights from Reykjavik.
