In the coming weeks, Emirates is bringing back the first class showers and business class bar and lounge.

A report today by One Mile At A Time has revealed that the Dubai-based carrier is resuming the services for its top tier customers.

First class passengers will now be able to access the two onboard first class showers on the A380. The aircraft has dedicated shower attendants, who for the last few months, have been working as bathroom attendants.

The airline will also be reintroducing the business class bar and lounge aboard A380s. The bar and lounge are located behind the business class cabin on the upper deck. The service will be at a modified level. Passengers entering the lounge will be strictly limited and rather than a social gathering area, it will be means of ordering the drink easily. With its state-of-the-art HEPA air filters offering superior ventilation, the A380’s bar is currently safer than many establishments at ground level.

One mile at a time reports that the services will resume from October 15,2020. However, an emirates spokesperson told Simple Flying,“Our product and service offering is constantly reviewed in line with the latest guidance on COVID-19 and we are looking into reopening our A380 Onboard Lounge and Shower Spa in the coming weeks”

It is good to see Emirates resuming various services. Do you think it is the right time to reintroduce these services? Let me know in the comments section below.
