HongKong based Mandarin Oriental has announced two more properties that it will open: one in Zurich, Switzerland and second in Riyadh,Saudi Arabia.
Zurich,Switzerland
Mandarin Oriental hotel group has announced that it will re-brand and manage the ‘Savoy Baur en Ville’ hotel, from 2024. The hotel, which first opened in 1838, is a landmark property in Paradeplatz, the main square. In 2022, the hotel will close and go under a two- year renovation and will open as Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich. The hotel will consist of 80 rooms and suites and three dining outlets. The hotel is located within walking distance from Lake Zurich. Tristan Auer, a French interior designer based in Paris, will oversee the full design.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The hotel group will re-brand and manage the ‘Al Faisaliah Hotel’, Riyadh. The hotel is currently going an extensive renovation which will be be completed by end of 2021, after which it will open rebranded as Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh. The hotel will comprise of 321 rooms and suites. The interiors will be designed by Adam Tihany Design, New York. The property is set in the heart of the Central Business District of Riyadh. There are multiple restaurants, lounges and bars which include the popular top floor venue which offers outstanding views of the city. Also there is a indoor swimming pool, a male and female spa and a fitness center.
