Accor enters Chandigarh, Punjab with a Novotel Hotel

Accor has announced the opening of Novotel Chandigarh Tribune Chowk, which is the 21st Novotel in India.

Accor has been present in India for around 50 years now. The company operates hotels under different brands in India. Out of the existing portfolio of brands, Novotel forms the largest network of midscale hotels in the country with 20 hotels already operational.

Accor states that “Novotel has shown a prodigious graph of growth in India in just over a decade, and the launch of Novotel in a new market like Chandigarh is a significant addition to Accor’s well-rounded portfolio”.

A 30-minute drive from Chandigarh International Airport, Novotel Chandigarh Tribune Chowk is in the city centre and offers close proximity to government offices, shopping areas and high-end residences.

Novotel Chandigarh Tribune Chowk features 120 contemporary guest rooms. The hotel offers two food and beverage outlets, with indoor and alfresco seating ; Food Exchange, the contemporary all-day dining and Curves, a modern, upbeat lounge bar. Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor plunge pool, a modern gymnasium and multiple meeting and wedding venues of different sizes spread across 8,100 square feet pillarless space.

Meanwhile, Accor recently unveiled new brand vision for Novotel with 4 new design concepts and signed a new Novotel hotel in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
