Oman will exempt citizens of 103 countries from needing an entry visa for a stay upto 10 days. This decision is in a move to boost tourism and support its struggling economy.

“Nationals of 103 countries are exempted from entry visas into the Sultanate for a period of ten days,” Oman national police said.

Visitors should have a confirmed hotel reservation, a return ticket and health care insurance.

The gulf country resumed international flights on 1st October,2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic but only to citizens and people holding valid existing residency and work visas.

The country last week also said that it would start granting tourist visas to those who are visiting on trips arranged by hotels and travel companies and agencies.
