United airlines on Saturday launched daily nonstop flights between Delhi and Chicago.

United Airlines launched its daily nonstop service on New Delhi-Chicago route on Saturday with a Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner. With this, the American carrier will fly nonstop to 3 destinations in the US i.e. New York, San Francisco and Chicago from the Indian capital.

- Departure time- 18:25
- Arrival time- 20:10 (the next day)
- Flight time- 14 hours and 15 minutes
- Flight number- UA898
- New Delhi-Chicago
- Departure time- 1:55
- Arrival time- 5:50
- Flight time- 15 hours and 25 minutes
- Flight number- UA299

This new flight strengthens our international route network and provides our customers from India with even greater travel choice, as well as the option of our Polaris business class service with flat-bed seats. With a network of connections from our Chicago O’Hare hub to 84 other destinations across the US, Mexico and the Caribbean, the new service opens up opportunities for both business and leisure travellers alike.”, said Harvinder Singh, United Airlines Country manager, India.

This route will provide individuals with another opportunity to fly non-stop between the two countries. With the addition of this service, United will now operate a total of 4 daily flights out of India along with Delhi-Newark, Delhi-San Francisco and Mumbai-Newark.
United also plans to launch a direct flight between San Francisco and Bengaluru on 8th May,2021.
“United will be the first US carrier to provide nonstop service from Bengaluru to the US and will offer more nonstop services from India than any other US airline,” the airline said in a statement.
Vistara is eyeing direct flights to the United States from India while American Airlines plans to operate a nonstop service between Seattle and Bengaluru next winter. Air India has announced flights between Hyderabad and Chicago.
