DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront opens its doors

Hilton today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront.

DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront is an 18 storey hotel which is the latest addition to Hilton’s expansion in Western Australia. The property is owned by SKS Group and managed by Hilton.

Rooms

The hotel consists of 229 rooms. The rooms offer uninterrupted Swan River and city views.

The hotel is strategically located beside landmark waterfront development Elizabeth Quay, which connects Perth’s CBD to the river. Perth International Airport is just 13 kms or 20 mins drive from the hotel. It is walking distance to many of Perth’s most popular tourist attractions, including the Western Australian Museum, Kings Park Botanic Gardens and Bell Tower.

Design

Local artist Tom Muller designed an exterior artwork named Aqua Lux, which translates to ‘light of the water’. The hotel enjoys many unique design features, notably the building’s extension out over the Swan River. The artwork spans across the entire building and was designed to emulate the many facets and moods of the Swan River.

Dining

Head to Reel Kitchen which features open kitchen concept showcasing fresh seasonal produce and the perfect spot to grab a bite with stunning river views. Then there is 18 knots rooftop bar, guest can enjoy 360-degree views, whilst they sip a drink beside the hotel’s rooftop pool. Coming soon in 2021, Bistro features a deli and bakery delivery freshly baked goods daily and is located right on the boardwalk.

Facilities

Guests who want to do some exercise or relaxation have a variety of options, including a 24-hour fitness center outfitted with the latest Life Fitness®equipment and an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the Swan River.

DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront also features 440 square meter of meeting space. The largest event space, measuring 360 square meters, can accommodate up to 300 guests in a cocktail setting. The two meeting rooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual and technical facilities along with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing plenty of natural light.
