SpiceJet will resume seaplane services from 27th December,2020 after it temporarily suspended the service due to mandatory aircraft maintenance.

Indian Low Cost Carrier SpiceJet has announced that it will resume seaplane services between Statue of Unity near Kavadiya in Gujarat’s Narmada district and the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad from 27th December,2020.
“Spiceshuttle, the fully-owned subsidiary of Spicejet will resume its seaplane operations between Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Riverfront and Kevadia’s Statue of Unity from December 27, 2020 with two daily flights on the route.”, stated SpiceJet.
SpiceJet uses a 15-seater Twin Otter 300 aircraft for these flights.
Bookings of the seaplane service for the passengers has opened from 20th December,2020.
