ITC Hotels opens WelcomHotel Ahmedabad

ITC Hotels has opened WelcomHotel Ahmedabad marking ITC’s 3rd hotel in the city after Fortune Landmark Ahmedabad and Fortune Park Ahmedabad.

WelcomHotel Ahmedabad is located on Ashram Road near the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad International Airport is located 10 kilometres from the property while the famous Kankaria Lake is located at a distance of 8.3 kilometres from the hotel.


The hotel consists of 121 rooms including suites while there are 8 serviced apartments. The base category rooms (Deluxe Rooms) start at 33 square meters.

The hotel houses a single all-day dining venue called ‘WelcomCafe Ikkat’ which offers local, global and national cuisines.

Facilities at the hotel include a Fitness centre, a swimming pool (opening soon), a concierge desk, a travel desk and 11 banqueting and meeting venues.

The hotel also comes under the WelcomHotel’s WeAssure Promise. Some of the key highlights of the initiative are:

In December last year, the group also opened its 1st hotel in Himachal Pradesh – WelcomHotel Shimla. The hotel is located in Mashobra – approximately 10 kilometres from Shimla – offering gorgeous valley views.

ITC Hotels has another hotel planned in Ahmedabad – ITC Narmada. It is estimated to open in 2022.
