Air India announces flights to Moscow, Brisbane and Singapore

Air India has announced multiple international flights to Moscow, Brisbane and Singapore.

Flights from Goa to Moscow

Air India is planning to add a new Goa to Moscow service in addition to its connection from Delhi. The flights will start from 14th April and will continue till 28th October, under India’s air travel bubble agreement with Russia. The flight will be operated by a Boeing B787 and will run on Thursdays on Goa-Moscow route and on Fridays on Moscow-Goa route.

This announcement comes just after Air India announced the resumption of its Delhi-Moscow service along with some other routes. While flights from Delhi to Moscow will be operated by a Airbus A320/A321 aircraft, Air India is deploying a bigger aircraft on its Goa service from Moscow, probably because of the longer distance. It remains to be seen whether the airline gets the seats filled on this leisure route.

Flight schedule:

  • Goa-Moscow Sheremetyevo
  • Departure time: 06:00
  • Arrival time: 11:05
  • Flight time: 7 hours and 35 minutes
  • Flight number: AI193
  • Moscow Sheremetyevo-Goa
  • Departure time: 10:20
  • Arrival time: 19:55
  • Flight time: 7 hours and 5 minutes
  • Flight number: AI194

While some may be wondering why Air India chose Goa-Moscow as one of its new international routes, there is a good reason. Russia is a huge tourism market for Goa, with Russians making up the vast majority of the 900,000 international tourists every year.

A single flight to Brisbane

On 26th March,2021, the national carrier of India will operate a flight between Delhi and Brisbane. Bookings can be done through the airline’s website, booking offices, and call centres.

Air India in a tweet said:
