Singapore Changi Airport launches ‘Safe Travel Concierge’ platform

Singapore’s Changi Airport has launched a platform called ‘Safe Travel Concierge’ (STC), a one-stop portal for passengers flying into Singapore, ‘offering personalised pre-travel guidance and Covid-19 test booking.’

What does this mean?

The online concierge service enables passengers to book their on-arrival COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test and check if they have completed all pre-travel requirements.

After a traveller has registered for an STC account, he/she will need to add the upcoming trips. Based on their profile and trip details, travellers will be shown a customised list of pre-travel requirements to complete before flying to Singapore.

In addition to booking on-arrival PCR test, passengers can also access services such as the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority’s electronic Arrival Card and Health Declaration form through STC.

Additionally, the latest COVID-19 related information will also be available on the portal.

Jayson Goh, Managing Director for Airport Operations Management, Changi Airport, said that the online concierge service can ease the anxiety of air travel by helping passengers navigate their pre-travel requirements. He said:

As we prepare for the reopening of international borders, Changi Airport continues to innovate and leverage technology to ensure a safe and pleasant traveller experience for our passengers. With the support of the Singapore Tourism Board, we first trialed the STC prototype at TravelRevive, the first hybrid tradeshow in Singapore. We are glad to launch it today for all passengers and encourage them to use it for a smoother experience at Changi Airport.

Passengers can register for an STC account on safetravel.changiairport.com. Registration is free. Click here to view the step-by-step guide on the ‘Safe Travel Concierge’ platform.
