Radisson Blu’s newest property in India, the Radisson Blu Resort Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh has announced that it will open its doors on 15th July 2021. Let’s find out more about the hotel.
Location
The hotel is located at a 30-minute drive from Kangra Airport in Dharamshala and is nestled at the foothills of the scenic Dhauladhar Himalayan range. The resort is well-situated to explore all popular places of interest in and around Dharamshala. The nearest railway station is Pathankot Railway Station which is approximately 88 kilometres (55 miles) from the hotel.
Accommodations
The Radisson Blu Resort Dharamshala consists of 120 sophisticated guest rooms and suites ranging from standard rooms to Presidential Suite. Most of the rooms at the property boast breath-taking views of the Kangra Valley and feature individual balconies.

Dining
At The Edge, guests can experience a range of local, aromatic dishes with western dishes whilst enjoying panoramic views of Dharamshala and the Kangra Valley. Guests can also sample a wide range of cocktails. It also features outdoor dining.
The Italian Crust restaurant offers a selection of classic pastas and pizzas. It also features a selection of wines to accompany the dishes.
All Out Bar & Lounge, styled in colonial decor, is a casual affair, with a selection of exclusive Indian brands for guests to try out. There is also a wide selection of international drinks, which can be paired with snacks or international cuisine. The D’Sweet Spot Tea Lounge takes inspiration from India’s long history of cultivating teas.
Facilities
Radisson Blu Resort Dharamshala features a fitness centre, an outdoor infinity swimming pool and a spa. The resort features 3 separate halls for events and meetings: Mid Off, Mid On, and Centurion, and an open-air banquet deck for social gatherings.
This is the 2nd Radisson Hotel in the North Indian state of Himachal Pradesh after Radisson Jass Shimla. Meanwhile, ITC Hotels recently opened WelcomHotel Tavleen Chail, its 2nd property in Himachal Pradesh after WelcomHotel Shimla.
